Privacy Policy — Etsy Keyword Extractor

Overview

Etsy Keyword Extractor is a Chrome extension that extracts tags and keywords from Etsy listing pages and displays them in an overlay panel for easy copying or CSV download.

This extension is designed with privacy as its core principle. We do not collect, store remotely, or transmit any personal data.

Data Collection

This extension collects no user data whatsoever. Specifically:

No personal information is collected
No browsing history or activity is tracked
No Etsy listing data is stored beyond your current session
No analytics or telemetry are gathered
No data is transmitted to any external server

Permissions Used

storage — Used only to temporarily remember the last extracted tags and listing URL so the popup can display recent results. Stored locally only, overwritten on each new listing.
clipboardWrite — Used only when you click a tag or the Copy All button. The extension never reads your clipboard.

The extension only runs on etsy.com/listing/* pages. It reads tag data that is already publicly visible on those pages. No private account information is accessed.

Third-Party Services

This extension does not integrate with, communicate with, or send any data to any third-party services, APIs, or servers.
