YouTube keeps you watching with three things: the list of suggestions next to the player, the tiles that appear over the end of a video, and autoplay. Ultimate Adblocker has a switch for each in its YouTube settings: "Hide recommended videos", "Hide end-screen suggestions" and "Turn off autoplay". With all three on, a video simply stops when it ends. Playlists you open on purpose still play in order.
