Extension to Mute Unfocused Tabs Automatically

Tab Manager doesn't mute tabs. Chrome can help: a speaker icon marks any tab playing sound, and right-clicking it and choosing "Mute site" silences that site. To stop sites playing sound unless you allow them, go to Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > Additional content settings > Sound. Some extensions mute every tab except the one you're on; check their permissions first.
