Clickbait thumbnails reach you mostly through YouTube's Home feed and suggestions. Ultimate Adblocker can hide both: turn on "Hide Home page videos", "Hide recommended videos" and "Hide end-screen suggestions" in its YouTube settings. For the videos you still see, DeArrow, a free extension from the creator of SponsorBlock, swaps sensational titles and thumbnails for ones other viewers have submitted and voted on. Choosing "Not interested" or "Don't recommend channel" from a video's menu also tells YouTube to show less like it.
