How to Use YouTube Simply as a Video Player

To use YouTube as a plain video player, turn off what's around the player. In Ultimate Adblocker's YouTube settings, switch on "Hide recommended videos", "Hide comments", "Hide live chat", "Hide end-screen suggestions" and "Hide merch, tickets and shopping", plus "Turn off autoplay". Its ad blocking is on by default. A watch page then shows the player, the title, the channel and the description. Press F for full screen when you want nothing else at all.
