Project Overview
As co-founder of Cache Ventures (established in 2013), I helped launch and scale a unique hybrid model: part venture studio (building companies from scratch), part advisory (guiding emerging founders to profitability), and part equity investor (acquiring and optimizing assets for enduring growth).
Focused on SaaS, subscription-based, and tech-enabled services businesses, Cache Ventures partners closely with entrepreneurs to ideate, validate, build, scale, and sometimes acquire companies—prioritizing sustainable models over hype, with a global remote team that values transparency, work-life balance, and bold innovation.
In my role, I led key aspects of brand and growth:
Founding Vision & Branding: Co-defined the firm's mission as "entrepreneurs collaborating to create a vision greater than the sum of our individual efforts." Developed the tone (laid-back yet results-driven), and core messaging that highlight building "awesome companies" through creativity, expertise, and strategic partnerships—differentiating in a crowded VC/studio landscape.
Marketing & Ecosystem Building: Directed go-to-market strategy, including digital marketing, SEO/content, social channels, talent acquisition (e.g., Founder in Residence roles), and community engagement. Focused on positioning Cache as a partner for ambitious builders—driving inbound founder deals, portfolio company growth, and hires in a competitive remote-first world.
Impact & Evolution: Contributed to expanding from self-funded origins to managing a portfolio of companies, launching new platforms, and fostering long-term value. The firm's emphasis on profitability, customer experience, and operator-led growth has built lasting credibility.
