Built the website and e-commerce platform for DTA Posse (dtaposse.com), a Los Angeles streetwear brand rooted in skate culture and the "Don't Trust Anyone" ethos. Developed a responsive, high-impact site featuring product catalogs, bold graphic displays, shopping cart integration, secure checkout, and promotional tools to showcase apparel collections and drive online sales. Delivered a seamless digital storefront that captured the brand's edgy, community-driven identity while supporting direct-to-consumer growth.
Project Overview
DTA Posse (Don't Trust Anyone) is a Los Angeles-based apparel and lifestyle brand with deep ties to skate, street, and urban culture. Originally evolving from Rogue Status influences, the brand—coined around the "DTA Posse" collective—features provocative, graphic-heavy designs on tees, hoodies, accessories, and limited drops. It emphasizes a no-compromise attitude ("We learn the hard way"), community loyalty, and high-energy visuals that resonate with fans in the skate and streetwear worlds.
I was responsible for building and launching the official website and integrated e-commerce experience (dtaposse.com and its /shop section), creating a modern digital hub that served as the primary online presence for the brand.
The platform enabled direct sales, collection showcases, and fan engagement in a competitive streetwear market.Key elements of the build included:
Responsive Design & Branding Alignment: Crafted a visually striking, mobile-first layout that mirrored DTA's bold, rebellious aesthetic—dark themes, high-contrast graphics, dynamic product imagery, and intuitive navigation to highlight seasonal drops, limited editions, and core collections.
E-Commerce Functionality: Implemented full online store features including product grids, detailed item pages (sizes, colors, descriptions), shopping cart, secure payment processing, order tracking, and promotional elements like sales banners, Black Friday campaigns, and restock alerts to boost conversions.
User Experience & Performance: Focused on fast loading, easy browsing for apparel seekers, and seamless checkout flows to reduce friction for impulse buys. Integrated tools for user accounts, wishlists (where applicable), and email capture for marketing follow-ups.
Content & Marketing Support: Structured sections for brand story, posse/community shoutouts, lookbooks, and easy updates for new releases—empowering the team to manage drops without heavy dev intervention.
This project elevated DTA Posse's online retail presence, turning the website into a key revenue driver and brand ambassador in the streetwear space. It demonstrated my expertise in building e-commerce sites for lifestyle brands—blending creative design, robust functionality, and performance optimization to support direct sales and cultural relevance.
