CSV Column Stats
Get min, max, mean, and sum per CSV column.
Quick stats on any column
Paste a CSV and this reports count, sum, minimum, maximum, and average for each numeric column, so you can sanity-check an export without opening a spreadsheet. Non-numeric columns get a value count instead.
It is a fast first look at an unfamiliar export — spotting a column that is all zeros, a max that is impossibly high, or a count that reveals missing rows before you build anything on the data.
Local, for sensitive data
Because it runs in your browser, you can profile customer or internal exports without uploading them. Nothing you paste leaves your device. Your rows are profiled on your device and never uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
What does this csv column stats do?
Calculate quick numeric summaries for each column in a pasted CSV.
Which statistics does it calculate?
For every column with numeric values: count, min, max, sum, average, and median, returned as JSON with the header name as the column label.
What happens to text and blank cells?
Blank cells and values that are not numbers, like "N/A", are skipped, so count shows how many numeric values the column actually has. Columns with no numbers are left out entirely.
Why does a currency column show no stats?
Values like "$1,200" or "45%" are not plain numbers. Remove currency symbols, thousands separators, and percent signs first, for example with a find-and-replace in your spreadsheet.
