How to use this interview practice tool

Pick the role closest to the job, press Next question, and start the timer. Answer out loud as if you were in the interview. When the timer runs out, you've probably said enough. Most answers land best at one to two minutes. For behavioral questions, the ones that start "Tell me about a time...", write your story into the STAR builder so you have it ready.

The STAR method in one minute

Behavioral questions test what you've done, not what you'd do. STAR keeps your answer specific: set the Situation briefly, say what your Task was, spend most of the time on the Action you took, and finish with the Result, ideally with a number. Prepare five or six strong stories and you can adapt them to most questions.

Before the interview

Check that your resume matches the job with the ATS resume checker, research the company, and prepare two or three questions of your own to ask at the end.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I practice for an interview?

Answer real questions out loud, against a timer, as if you were in the room. Practice the common behavioral questions until your stories come easily, then add questions specific to the role.

What is the STAR method?

A way to structure answers to behavioral questions: the Situation, your Task, the Action you took, and the Result. It keeps answers specific and stops you rambling.

How long should an interview answer be?

For most questions, one to two minutes. The timer defaults to two minutes, and the STAR builder estimates how long your written answer takes to say.

Is this an AI interview coach?

No. It gives you realistic questions, a timer, and a structure for strong answers. Practicing out loud is what makes the difference.
