When you copy a link with YouTube's Share button, it adds a code such as ?si=… that lets YouTube connect the link to the account that shared it. You don't need a tool to remove it: delete the si= code and the ? or & in front of it, and the link still opens the same video. Copying the address from your browser's address bar instead of using Share avoids it too. Patrick Bushe's extensions don't rewrite YouTube links, but several free extensions and userscripts remove the code automatically if you share a lot of links.
