The Shorts entry in YouTube's side menu is one click away from endless scrolling. Turn on "Hide Shorts" in Ultimate Adblocker's YouTube settings and it removes that entry from both the full menu and the narrow icon menu, along with the Shorts tab on channel pages and Shorts shelves on the Home page, in search and in your subscriptions. Shorts links you open from elsewhere play in the normal video player. It works in Chrome on a computer, not in the YouTube app.
