YouTube Premium removes ads, but the layout stays the same: Shorts, recommendations and comments are all still there. Ultimate Adblocker is free and covers both on a computer. It blocks YouTube's ads, and its YouTube settings can hide Shorts, the Home page videos, recommended videos, comments, end-screen tiles, live chat and merch shelves, and turn off autoplay. It runs in your browser, so it works whether or not you're signed in. It doesn't add Premium's downloads or background play, and it doesn't work in the YouTube app.
