Outbrain's "recommended for you" grids sit under many news articles and mix the site's own links with paid ones. The cleanest way to get rid of them is to stop them loading at all. Ultimate Adblocker blocks requests to Outbrain's servers using EasyList's rules, and hides the leftover widget boxes on sites where EasyList has hiding rules for them. Taboola's grids are handled the same way. Because the requests never go out, the page has less to load, and if a site ever needs the widget to work, you can pause the extension on that site.
