Old forum threads and neglected blogs are often full of broken ad slots, dead embeds and big blank gaps. Ultimate Adblocker removes much of that: it blocks the ad scripts before they load and hides the ad boxes EasyList knows about, so the text moves up into the space they took. It can't fix a page's own messy layout, though. For that, right-click the page and choose "Open in reading mode", which shows just the article text in Chrome's side panel.
