How to Implement Teleprompter Auto Scrolling for Writers

Chrome on Windows has basic auto-scroll built in: click the mouse wheel, then move the pointer a little below the icon that appears, and the page scrolls on its own; move further to go faster, and click again to stop. It works for reading, but the speed depends on where your pointer sits. For speaking, a dedicated teleprompter app or website is better: they give you a steady, adjustable speed, large text, mirroring and remote controls. Google Docs has no auto-scroll of its own, so paste your script into the teleprompter tool.
