How to Set Up Auto Read for Long PDF Files in Chrome

Chrome's PDF viewer has no auto-scroll setting. On Windows, middle-click autoscroll may work: click the mouse wheel, then move the pointer a little below the icon that appears, and the page scrolls on its own; move further to go faster, and click again to stop. If what you really want is the PDF read to you, Microsoft Edge's built-in PDF viewer has Read aloud, and Windows Narrator or the Mac's Spoken Content can read selected text.
