How to Smooth Scroll on Ultra Wide Monitors

On an ultra-wide monitor, the bigger strain is line length: text stretched across the screen is hard to follow. Snap the browser to half the screen (Windows key and Left or Right arrow) or open Chrome's Reading mode, which keeps lines short. Chrome already animates wheel scrolling, and lowering Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mouse > "Lines to scroll at a time" makes each notch move the page less.
