Tab Manager saves projects by window rather than grouping tabs: keep each project's tabs in its own window, then save the window as a named session. You can close it and restore it later in a new window, with the tabs asleep until you click them. For grouping inside one window, Chrome's tab groups (right-click, then Add tab to new group) are built in, and Chrome can suggest groups where "Organize similar tabs" is available.
