Where Chrome offers it, right-click a tab and choose "Organize similar tabs", and Chrome suggests groups for you to accept. Otherwise, select tabs with Ctrl-click (Cmd-click on a Mac), right-click and choose Add tabs to new group, then name and color it. Tab Manager doesn't group tabs; it saves whole windows as named sessions instead, which is another way to keep topics apart.
