Political ads on social media are mostly bought as promoted or sponsored posts. In Chrome on a computer, Ultimate Adblocker hides promoted posts on X and Reddit using EasyList's rules for those sites, political ones included. It doesn't reliably remove sponsored posts from Facebook or Instagram feeds, and it can't reach the phone apps. On Facebook and Instagram, Meta's ad preferences let you hide ads from particular advertisers.
