Shifting toward amber warms a color and shifting toward blue cools it, without changing which color it fundamentally is. The adjustment runs locally with nothing uploaded.

What does the color temperature adjuster do?
It shifts a hex color warmer or cooler by adjusting red and blue channels.
How is a color warmed or cooled?
Moving the slider toward warm raises the red channel and lowers the blue channel by 0.7 per step; cooling does the opposite. Green gets a tiny lift either way to keep the color from going muddy.
Why does a large shift clip some colors?
Channels are capped at 0 and 255, so a color that is already very red or very blue has no room to move further. Past that point, extra slider travel changes nothing.
Is this the same as white balance in photo editors?
It is a simplified version. Photo editors shift along a Kelvin temperature curve, while this tool nudges RGB channels directly, which is enough for tweaking a UI or brand color.
