What does the standardizer change?
Each header is lowercased, accents and symbols are dropped, runs of spaces and punctuation become a single underscore, and leading or trailing underscores are trimmed. "Customer Name (First)" becomes customer_name_first.
What happens to duplicate headers?
Headers that end up identical after cleaning, such as "Email" and " email " both becoming email, are merged into one entry. Rename one before importing if both columns hold different data.
How do I use it with a spreadsheet?
Copy the header row, paste it so each column name is on its own line (transpose it if needed), and copy the cleaned names back.
