What does the normalizer clean?
It trims spaces around every cell, collapses repeated spaces inside cells, lowercases the header row, and removes rows that are exact duplicates after cleanup.
Does it change the data values?
Only whitespace. Capitalization and punctuation in data rows are kept, and commas stay as column separators.
Does it handle quoted fields?
Cells are split on commas, so a quoted value containing a comma, like "Smith, John", will be split. Clean those rows by hand or use the CSV viewer to spot them first.
