Net Worth Tracker
Calculate net worth from assets and liabilities.
Assets minus what you owe
Net worth is simply everything you own minus everything you owe. Listing assets and liabilities gives one honest number to track over time, which matters more than any single month.
Tracking the single number over months matters more than any snapshot, since a rising net worth means assets are outgrowing debts even when individual accounts wobble.

Frequently asked questions
How do I enter assets and liabilities?
One item per line as "name, value", such as "Checking, 8000". The last number on each line is added up, so commas in names do not matter.
What does the default example add up to?
$65,000 of assets (checking, investments, and a car) minus $11,500 of liabilities (a credit card and auto loan) gives a net worth of $53,500.
How often should I track net worth?
Monthly or quarterly is plenty. Use the note field to label each snapshot, such as "July snapshot", and compare the trend rather than any single number.
