What does the twitter/x card preview do?

Do I need twitter: tags if I already have Open Graph tags?
X falls back to og:title, og:description, and og:image when twitter: tags are missing. You still need twitter:card to choose between summary and summary_large_image.
What image size works for a large card?
summary_large_image uses a 2:1 image; 1200 × 600 pixels is a safe size, at least 300 × 157 and under 5 MB.
Why is my card not updating on X?
X caches card data. After changing the tags, it can take time before a new post picks them up, and the image URL must be publicly reachable.
