Weighted Grade Calculator
Combine assignment scores and weights into an overall grade.
Grades that count differently
When a final counts for more than a quiz, a simple average misleads. A weighted grade multiplies each score by its weight before averaging, giving a true picture of where you stand.
Enter each score with its weight, and it returns the weighted average. Scores of 92, 85, 78, and 88 at weights of 20, 30, 20, and 30 work out to about 85.5% overall.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I enter grades?
One assignment per line as a score and its weight — for example 90 20 for a 90% worth 20% of the grade.
Do the weights need to total 100?
No. It divides by the total weight you enter, so partial weightings still give a correct running grade.
What does it return?
The weighted average score and, when the weights total 100, your overall course grade.
