Chromebooks can't run Windows automation apps, so automation has to live in the browser. For clicks and typing, free browser automation extensions such as Automa (open source, with drag-and-drop blocks) or UI.Vision RPA (record and replay), run on ChromeOS. AutoBrowser works on Chromebooks too, but it does a narrower job: it cycles through a bookmark folder in one tab, a set time per page, which suits a Chromebook driving an office screen. For managed kiosks, ChromeOS has its own kiosk mode through Google Admin.
