For YouTube, Ultimate Adblocker blocks the ads and has a switch for each kind of clutter: Shorts, the Home page videos, recommended videos, comments, end-screen suggestions, live chat, and merch and ticket shelves. Turn on the ones you don't want in its YouTube settings and leave the rest. It works in Chrome on a computer; other video sites get its general ad and tracker blocking only.
