Rejecting optional cookies doesn't log you out: the cookies a site needs for logins and baskets are "strictly necessary" and don't need consent. Cookie Auto-Reject clicks whichever button the banner offers for that, whether it's labelled "Reject all", "Only necessary", "Necessary only" or "Essential only". It doesn't read or sort cookies itself; the site decides which ones count as necessary when you refuse the rest. Banners that only offer "Accept" or a settings page aren't handled.
