Chrome Extension to Remove Generative Search Experience

The Search Generative Experience, Google's 2023 Search Labs test, became AI Overviews and later AI Mode. Patrick Bushe's Search Cleaner hides both: the "AI Overview" switch is on by default, and "AI Mode Tab" removes the AI Mode tab under the search box. It's a Manifest V3 extension with one permission, storage, and it hides the boxes after Google draws the page, so you may see one for a moment. It works on google.com search pages.
