Extension to Block Crypto Miners Hidden in Sites

Some hacked or shady sites run JavaScript crypto miners that use your computer's processor to mine cryptocurrency for someone else while the page is open. A telltale sign is your fans spinning up on a page that shouldn't need much power. Ultimate Adblocker blocks known mining scripts and mining sites using the NoCoin filter list, along with the URLhaus list of malware addresses, and it blocks them before they load, so the miner never runs. Lists only cover miners someone has already reported, so if a page still pushes your CPU hard, close the tab; Chrome's Task Manager (in the menu under More tools) shows which tabs are using it.
