You don't need a paid tool to clean up YouTube. Ultimate Adblocker is free, and its YouTube settings let you hide comments, recommended videos, Shorts, the Home page videos, live chat, merch shelves and end-screen tiles, and turn off autoplay. It blocks YouTube's ads too. The player, search and your subscriptions keep working. YouTube removed its Trending page in 2025, so there's no trending tab left to hide.
