High Contrast Text Extension for Visually Impaired

Low-contrast gray text is hard for many people to read, and some dark modes make it worse.

Modern Dark Mode can give you maximum contrast. By default it turns white backgrounds dark charcoal (about #1a1a1a) and black text light gray (about #e6e6e6); raise the Contrast slider in Advanced Settings to about 125% and those become pure black and pure white. It isn't a full accessibility tool, though: it doesn't enlarge text or change fonts. For that, use Chrome's zoom (Ctrl and +) or its font size settings, and Windows contrast themes or macOS's "Increase contrast" setting work across your whole computer.
