How to Disable Shorts Player and Redirect to Standard

The Shorts player has no proper timeline and swipes you on to the next clip. With "Hide Shorts" on in Ultimate Adblocker's YouTube settings, any Shorts link you open, from a message, a website or YouTube itself, goes to the same video at /watch?v= in YouTube's normal player, where you can pause, scrub and change speed. The same switch hides Shorts from YouTube's feeds, search and menu. You can also do it by hand: replace /shorts/ in the address with /watch?v=.
