For research, Chrome's tab groups and Reading list do a lot: group sources by topic, and add pages to read later to the Reading list. Tab Manager adds named sessions, so you can save a project's tabs, close them and restore them in a new window later, plus a search across every open tab. It doesn't export lists or citations; for a bibliography, a reference manager such as Zotero, which has a browser connector, is the better tool.
