How to Apply Dark Theme to Plain Text Files in Browser

When you open a raw .txt, .log, or .md file directly in Chrome, the browser renders it using its default, painfully bright settings with raw black text.
To apply a dark theme to these plain text files, the Modern Dark Mode extension works phenomenally well—but you must authorize it first. Since text files are often loaded from your local C:\ drive, you must go to your Chrome Extension Manager and toggle "Allow access to file URLs." Once done, every local log file or text dump you inspect in Chrome will instantly read comfortably in dark mode.
