How to Hide Google AI Overview Without Using an Adblocker

You don't need a full ad blocker for this. Search Cleaner is a small extension that only runs on google.com search pages and asks for a single permission, storage, for your settings. Its "AI Overview" switch is on from the start and hides the box by its heading; the rest of the web isn't touched. If you also want Google's ads hidden, turn on its "Sponsored / Ads" switch.
