Best Chrome Extensions for Etsy Sellers in 2026

Etsy sellers mostly use extensions for three jobs: finding keywords, researching what sells, and checking competitors' listings. Here are well-known options for each, and what you can do without installing anything.
Start with what Etsy gives you
Etsy's Shop Manager shows your shop's visits, orders and traffic sources, and which search terms brought shoppers to your listings. That last part is the best keyword data you'll get, because it's real searches that found your shop. Check it before paying for any tool.
Keyword and SEO research
- eRank is one of the longest-running Etsy SEO tools. It has a free plan, and its extension shows listing details and tags while you browse Etsy.
- Alura offers Etsy keyword research and listing optimization, with a Chrome extension for checking listings as you browse.
Search figures from these tools are estimates built from their own data, not numbers from Etsy, so use them to compare keywords, not as exact counts.
Product research
EverBee is widely used for product research. Its extension shows estimated sales and revenue for listings and shops in search results. Like all such tools, the sales numbers are estimates based on public signals such as reviews and listing data, so treat them as rough.
Seeing a listing's tags
Etsy doesn't show the 13 tags a seller chose for a listing, but they're in the page. Etsy Keyword Extractor pulls the tags and keywords from any listing you open, so you can copy them or download them as a CSV for your research. To turn your own keyword ideas into tags, paste them into the free Etsy tags extractor, which trims them to Etsy's limits of 13 tags and 20 characters each.
Use competitors' tags for ideas, not to copy wholesale. Tags that describe your own item accurately (material, style, who it's for, occasion) work better than borrowed ones.
Everyday helpers
- A spelling and grammar checker such as Grammarly catches typos in titles and descriptions.
- A screenshot tool helps you keep a record of competitors' prices and photos over time.
- A password manager keeps your Etsy account secure, which matters since shop takeovers happen.
Before installing any Etsy extension
- Check what permissions it asks for. A tool that reads Etsy pages doesn't need access to every site.
- Read recent reviews, since Etsy page changes can break extensions.
- Never give an extension your Etsy password. Tools that connect to your shop should use Etsy's official sign-in, which asks you to approve access.
