A dog supply store whose fit and feed finder stamps your dog’s harness size and daily cups on a tag.
The brief
Muttworks is a made-up dog supply shop in Long Beach that sells its own food, treats, harnesses, leashes and beds.
Two questions stop dog owners at checkout: how much of this food should my dog eat, and which harness size fits? Guessing wrong means a return or an upset stomach.

The idea
The dog tag
Categories, badges and the finder’s answer are stamped tags on a split ring, and the finder turns weight, age and chest size into a tag that reads like “Size M · 2⅓ cups a day.” Collar red and navy on white; Bricolage Grotesque with Figtree, rounded tag corners but square buttons.
Design decisions
Feed math you can check
Daily calories use the standard resting-energy formula (70 × kg^0.75) times a factor for age and activity, then turn into cups for the food you pick.
Size from one tape measure
Measure around the ribs and the finder picks the harness size, with a chart for anyone between sizes.
One answer, two buys
From the tag, one button opens the harness with your dog’s size already picked and another adds the food on autoship.
