Free Chrome Extension to Block YouTube Doomscrolling

Most YouTube doomscrolling happens in two places: the Shorts player and the endless Home feed. Ultimate Adblocker is free and can remove both. In its YouTube settings, turn on "Hide Shorts" (Shorts links then open in the normal player, with no swiping to the next one) and "Hide Home page videos" or "Open Subscriptions instead of Home". "Hide recommended videos" and "Turn off autoplay" stop the chain after each video. It works in Chrome on a computer, not in the YouTube app on your phone.
