Pest Control & Exterminator Websites

Pest control website design: what it costs and what works

Websites for pest control companies, exterminators and termite specialists. Nobody browses for pest control for fun: they just found ants in the pantry, droppings in the garage or wings by the window, and they want three answers fast. Can you get rid of it, is it safe for my kids and pets, and how soon can you come? I design pest control sites that answer those questions on a phone and then sell the ongoing plan, not only the one-time visit. Below: what a pest control site costs, and what it needs to say.

Safe for kids and pets, explained

Plain answers about what you spray, where, and how long before the dog can go back outside.

Plans that keep renewing

Quarterly or monthly service laid out next to a one-time treatment, so the better deal is easy to choose.

Quick answer

Building it yourself on Wix or Squarespace runs about $17.77 to $159.77 a month; a local plan where someone else builds it is $99 to $149 a month; a custom pest control site starts at $5,000, paid once. The pages that matter most are the ones for each pest, a clear safety answer for families with pets, and a service plan people can understand without calling.

The guide

What a pest control website costs

How you get itCostMakes sense for
Build it yourself on Wix or Squarespace$17.77–$159.77 a month on Wix, $19–$99 on Squarespace, paid yearlyA new route with a handful of customers
Local site plan (ProPages)$99 monthly for 5 pages, or $149 monthly for 10 pages plus a quote form and galleryA basic site with no up-front cost, month to month
Hourly freelancer on Upwork$15–$30 an hour for most; $45–$75+ for custom designOne-off fixes you can spell out
Custom pest control site (me)From $5,000 one time, in writing, plus hostingPest and city pages that rank, plus plans sold online

Plan prices: Wix and Squarespace as of October 2026; ProPages and Upwork as of November 2026. A $149 plan is $1,788 a year, every year; see how much a website costs for the long view.

Sell the plan, not just the visit

A one-time treatment is one invoice. A quarterly plan is four a year, every year the customer stays. The site should make the plan the obvious choice:

  • Side by side. One-time treatment next to the plan, with what each visit covers.
  • The free re-service. If pests come back between visits, say what happens and what it costs.
  • How to cancel. People sign up more readily when leaving is spelled out.
  • Sign up online. A form that starts the plan, so customers aren’t waiting for a callback.

What customers want to know before they book

  1. Is it safe for my kids and pets? What you use, where you apply it, and how long to keep them away.
  2. What is this bug? Photos of the signs help people describe the problem, and find your pest page from search.
  3. How soon can you come? Same-day or next-day, in words, not a vague “fast service.”
  4. Are you licensed? In California, pest control companies are licensed by the Structural Pest Control Board; show the number.
  5. Do you do termite reports for a home sale? Buyers, sellers and agents search for this on a deadline.
  6. What does it cost? A starting price, or at least the plan price per month.

Work

A yard-service site you can click through

One Drop Landscapes is a lawn replacement company I made up. Two of its tools fit pest control well: a yard photo you tap to see what’s going on, and a planner that turns a few answers into a price range. See all 26

One Drop Landscapes

  • A sample yard photo with tappable hotspots
  • A yard planner that gives a price range from a few answers
  • A filterable library, like a guide to the pests you treat
  • Two sample care plans, the way a service plan would be shown

One Drop Landscapes is a made-up business. Its people, prices, results and reviews are samples.

What's included

Every project includes

Pest pages

One page per pest with photos of the signs, what attracts it, and how your treatment works.

Service plan page

What each visit covers, how often you come, what a re-service costs and how to cancel.

Termite inspections

A page and form for inspection reports, including the ones requested during a home sale.

Service area pages

A page for each city you cover, with the pests that show up most there.

License and reviews

Your state license in the footer and recent reviews beside the request button.

Quick on a phone

Pages that load fast for someone standing in the garage with a flashlight.

Optional add-on

Add an AI assistant to your new site

A better site brings in more inquiries. An AI add-on makes sure none of them wait. I build it alongside your site, so it launches with everything else.

$5,000+

Pest control sites I build start at $5,000; lots of pest and city pages, plan sign-up online or a link to your routing software raise it. The number is agreed in writing up front.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

What should a pest control website include?

A page for each pest you treat, how you keep kids and pets safe, your service plans with what each visit covers, the cities you serve, your license, reviews, and a way to call or request service from any page.

How much does a pest control website cost?

If you build it yourself, Wix runs $17.77 to $159.77 a month and Squarespace $19 to $99, both on yearly plans. A done-for-you plan from a company like ProPages is $99 to $149 a month. Custom pest control sites from me start at $5,000, with the price fixed in writing.

Should a pest control website show prices?

Show what you can: a starting price for a one-time treatment and the monthly cost of a plan answer the first question most people have. Termite and rodent jobs vary more, so an inspection request fits better there.

Is a pest control website template enough?

For a new owner-operator, often yes. Once you want to rank for each pest in each city, and sell plans online instead of over the phone, you need pages and forms a template wasn’t made for.

Do you build sites for other home services?

Yes. HVAC and plumbing, landscaping and other trades have their own pages, linked below.

Do you only work with Los Angeles pest control companies?

No. I work from Los Angeles with pest control companies across the country, all by email and a private preview link.
