Senior Living & Assisted Living Websites

Senior living website design for families who are deciding

Websites for assisted living, memory care and independent living communities. The person reading a senior living site is often an adult child, researching late at night for a parent, sometimes right after a fall or a hospital stay. They want to know which kinds of care you give, what a month costs, what the apartments and meals look like, and when they can visit. I design senior living sites that answer those questions calmly, make a tour easy to book, and stay readable for the older adults who visit too. Below: what a community site costs, and what families look for.

Quick answer

A senior living site costs about $17.77 to $159.77 a month if your team builds it on Wix or Squarespace; having it designed and built for you starts at $5,000. Families shortlist communities online, so the site has to answer four things clearly: what care you give, what it costs, what it looks like inside, and how to visit.

How families compare communities online

  1. The right care. Whether you can handle what their parent needs now, and what happens as needs change.
  2. The price. A starting monthly rate and what it covers.
  3. The apartments. Floor plans, sizes and real photos.
  4. Food and the day. Menus and an activity calendar.
  5. Staff. Who’s on site at night, and the training memory care staff receive.
  6. Safety and the license. Your license number and where to look it up.
  7. A visit. Times for a tour, a lunch visit or a video walkthrough.

Use your own photos, and residents only with permission

Stock photos of smiling seniors are the first thing families learn to skip. Photos of your own dining room, garden and apartments do far more. If residents appear, get written permission from them (or from whoever decides for them) first, and never show anyone’s care details.

What's included

Every project includes

Care level pages

One page each for independent living, assisted living, memory care and respite stays, describing daily life and support.

Floor plans and photos

Each apartment or suite with a floor plan, square footage, photos and the starting monthly rate if you share it.

Tour booking

Families pick a visit time or a video tour, and the request goes straight to your move-in team.

A page for family questions

Signs it may be time, paying with long-term care insurance or veterans benefits if you accept them, and what move-in day looks like.

Daily life

Menus, the activity calendar and photos of real events, kept current by your staff.

License and care details

Your state license number, how you staff days and nights, and the health services on site, stated plainly.

Optional add-on

Add an AI assistant to your new site

A better site brings in more inquiries. An AI add-on makes sure none of them wait. I build it alongside your site, so it launches with everything else.

Senior living website pricing

$5,000+

Community sites start at $5,000. Several communities, a floor plan search or a second language add to the price, which you approve in writing ahead of time.

Every project includes discovery, design iterations, development, launch, and 30 days of post-launch support. Fixed scope, no surprise billing.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

What should a senior living website include?

The care levels you offer, starting prices, floor plans and photos, a daily life page with menus and activities, your license and staffing, tour booking, reviews and directions. Families compare several communities at once, so every fact should be easy to find.

How much does a senior living website cost?

If your own team builds it, plan on $17.77–$159.77 a month for Wix or $19–$99 for Squarespace, paid yearly. Freelancers on Upwork tend to charge $15 to $30 an hour. My custom community sites start at $5,000, set in one written price.

Should senior living communities show prices?

Starting prices help. Families often rule out a community that hides them. Show a “from” monthly rate for each care level, what it includes and what can raise it, then confirm the exact rate after an assessment.

Who is the website really for?

Mostly adult children researching for a parent, plus the older adults themselves. Write for both: clear facts for the one planning, and large, readable pages with warm photos for the future resident.

Should we show our license number?

It helps. In California, assisted living and memory care communities are licensed as Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly by the Department of Social Services, and families can look up a license there. Putting yours on the site saves them the step.

Can you build for communities outside Los Angeles?

Yes, anywhere in the US. I’m based in Los Angeles and handle the whole project by email and shared previews.
