How to Auto-Click Cookie Banners on Rotation Displays

A screen that rotates through websites, such as a wall display, a dashboard or a kiosk, often ends up showing a cookie banner instead of the content. Since no one is sitting at the screen to click it away, you need a setup that handles banners on its own.
1. Use one permanent browser profile
Sites remember your cookie choice in a cookie. If the browser keeps its cookies, each banner only needs answering once.
- Create a dedicated Chrome profile for the display.
- Don't use incognito or guest mode, which forget choices when closed.
- Turn off settings that clear cookies when Chrome closes.
2. Answer each banner once
Before starting the rotation, visit each site in that profile and choose "Reject all" or "Accept". Most choices last months. Some sites ask again after a set period or when their policy changes.
3. Reject automatically
Cookie Auto-Reject clicks "Reject all", "Decline" or "Only necessary" on many common banners as soon as they appear, including banners inside frames. It runs on every site while it's switched on, so new or returning banners get handled without anyone at the screen. If a banner only offers a "Manage preferences" button, it opens the preferences and stops, so check those sites once by hand.
4. Set up the rotation
AutoBrowser cycles through the pages in a bookmark folder in one tab, from 1 second to 5 minutes per page, and loops. Run a full loop while watching, to catch any site where a banner still appears. See setting up a browser display.
Sites that won't cooperate
- Cookie walls: some sites block content until you accept. Accept once in the display profile if you're comfortable with that, or replace the site. See cookie walls explained.
- Sign-in prompts and newsletter pop-ups: these aren't cookie banners. Close them once, sign in if you subscribe, or choose a different page on the same site.
- Banners that return every visit: usually means cookies aren't being kept. Check the profile's cookie settings.
Keep it running
- Check the screen after browser updates and every few weeks.
- Prefer pages built for display, such as status pages and dashboards, which rarely show banners.
- Don't sign the display profile into personal accounts.
